"This book is a small tribute to Gënter Bruno Fuchs, the poet, woodcutter and drinker, a friend of children, poets, artists of all colors and an old boozer in dilapidated pubs. He was no friend of wishful thinkers and the conventional; in the time of the Economic Miracle he was in the eyes of society just a comical backyard poet, a big, strange fellow and a good-for-nothing. But this story shows how humane and poetic his pen was." - SZ

Graphic artist, painter and book designer Svato Zapletal has run his own publishing house for 30 years, with 45 titles to date, letterpress printed and illustrated chiefly with linoleum and wood block prints. German expressionist poets are favorite subjects.
