Works by the members of Hand Bookbinders of Chicago come to the San Francisco Center for the Book at the same time that the Columbia College Center for the Book and Paper Arts will be host to the Hand Bookbinders of California. This roundtrip exchange will feature everything from the most detailed hand-tooled leather, extravagant artist books to the refined antiquarian bindings. This is a rare opportunity to see some of the most talented bookbinders’ crafts from the Midwest.
