Studio Time
We welcome your use of the SFCB's print studio, bindery and other
equipment! Studio time is available by the hour weekdays from 10
a.m.-5 p.m., and on some evenings, at affordable rates. You'll need to
provide your own materials, although you can purchase a few items from
the Center such as photopolymer plates. Studio usage requires proven
expertise and pre-approval by Center staff.
To print on your own,
you'll need to complete Letterpress I, II and III and then reserve
one-on-one time with the Center's studio manager to demonstrate your
knowledge of printing procedures. See our
Calendar
for more details on
printing workshops.
If you've mastered Letterpress I, II and III and you're
interested in renting press time when an expert is on hand for
encouragement and advice, consider our
Open Print Studio nights.
