Seet Van Hout
Enchanted Loom is a collection of color, iconography and materials from Holland, the artist's home, and India, where she works three months each year. Between hand-woven cloth covers, the pages offer surprising variety, to the eye and to the touch: pin-pricked images, oil paintings on Indian papers, hand-printed relief blocks, tipped-in lithographs, carbon drawings, photographs and more. The result is a tapestry of narrative and imagery.
