This fur-covered concertina book recalls a boy's make-believe forays as a hunter and gradually develops into a haunting and lyrical exploration of man's communion with nature. Ten pencil drawings intertwine with text printed on the underside of lightweight Japanese paper, creating an atmosphere of fragility. The result is a meditation on the dual potential for intimacy and destruction, the relationship between hunter and prey.
