Inspired by Hand Bookbinders'of California yearlong course in craft bookbinding. A three-flap portfolio made from binders board covered in Japanese book cloth encloses a handmade book of 13 haiku and 13 western poems, all featuring plums (real or emblematic), laser-printed on rice paper, folded at the fore-edge and bound inside Brokat cover paper using a tortoise-shell stab binding.
