Bamboo, photocopied Chinese newspaper with calligraphic poems (20 x 14 x 1-1/2 inches) On a visit to China, Anna collected works by a monk who wrote calligraphic poems on sheets of newspaper. She transformed these into a sculptural book by wrapping photocopies printed in black and red - "the color of Chinese New Year" - around bamboo sticks.
