Finally! An all day image transfer class! Learn the core methods for transferring images and text to all surfaces: paper, fabric, wood and metal, then spend the day playing and exploring the world of image transfers. Courtney will demonstrate methods and projects from her book, Playing with Image Transfers, then give you the day to play. Gain experience in different approaches that use inexpensive materials and go home with a wealth of knowledge and a pack of samples made in class! The Image Transfers course is great for beginners and seasoned artists who would like to add more dimension and depth to their work. 


Materials to Bring: Paper, fabric, sketchbook to work in, magazine clippings, two to three black-and-white laser copies of small images (3" or less), and two to three color laser copies of small images. Courtney will provide lots of materials and images for you to use as well. 

Optional and available at SFCB for student use during workshop: scissors, bone folder.

Workshop Fee (includes $25 materials fee): $190.00

About the Instructor | Courtney Cerruti

Maker extraordinaire, Courtney is an artist, author, collaborator and shop owner. Her books, Playing with Image Transfers,  Washi Tape 101 and Playing With Surface Design been translated into Italian, French, German, Spanish and Chinese. Courtney teaches workshops all over the country and online at Creativebug.com.
