Nun Sequitur: Caption Contest and Pop-Up Exhibition
Nun Sequitur is a lighthearted print project dreamed up by SFCB staff and designed to bring a bit of silliness to our letterpress studio. The project encourages printers to spend creative time at SFCB, playing with text and image.
Participants are invited to print a captioned edition of posters using an image of nuns riding on a tractor. Polymer plates of the image are provided for use in SFCB’s Print Studio. Completed, captioned posters will be featured in a pop-up exhibition running from October 11–26, 2025.
Registration is $25, for which people receive 15 sheets of trimmed paper and one free studio rental day. Participants must be certified to use SFCB’s print studio at the time of registration.
